Creating a label for Ethereal Brewing's number one beer: Baba Yaga. This was an early take at something more illustrative and more realistic. This is the initial sketch.
First full label lay out. The beer is brewed in barrels from Four Roses Bourbon. I decided to use that and made the roses blue as reference to the Baba Yaga legend of her consuming tea from blue roses to regain her youth.
Added a bird-skull helmet as a reference to Baba Yaga's Chicken legged house. Also tried this version in black.
This was the last take for this version with a white background and a flatter color in the blue roses.
